GUAPE

The “Guape” project began with a client looking to establish a refined ladies’ footwear brand. After exploring naming options, following the discovery that her original name was already taken, we developed “Guape” as a distinctive and unique identity.

 

The logo was designed to be sleek, modern, and understated, ensuring it never competed with the product itself. Restrained to black or white depending on background, the mark provides quiet brand recognition while allowing the shoes to remain the focal point.

 

Alongside the identity, I explored the wider visual direction of the brand, including how products should be presented online. This extended into a more abstract and creative approach to imagery and modelling, shaping a minimal yet expressive digital presence that elevates the footwear while maintaining a strong, cohesive brand world.

Logo Design

The logo design concept emerged from extensive discussions with the client and thorough research. Our goal was to develop a logo that embodies simplicity, minimalism, and elegance, ensuring it complements and highlights the product beautifully. This approach not only elevates the brand's identity but also resonates with its target audience, making a lasting impression.

Art Direction

In our consultation, we explored innovative ways to visually represent the brand and product. We discussed a unique abstract model style, focusing on bold quirky ideas that push creative boundaries. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, we considered unconventional model and product photography approaches that embrace minimal limitations, ensuring a distinctive and visual identity.
